Artichoke Dip Wontons

This is totally one of those "I wish I thought of that" foods. So simple!!! These are great to bring over someones house, as an appetizer, or on Saturday, when you and your gentleman caller or lady friend sit on the couch all day long watching movies or laughing at the most recent Doctor Who that's popped up on Netflix and when no actual  'meals' will be consumed, but instead tons of 'picking' foods to hold you over while you indulge in a (few) Bloody Mary's.  I wouldn't know anything about that.

Nope.  Not me.

I'll link you to my go to Spinach Artichoke Dip recipe, but seriously people, go out and buy wonton wrappers.  Round, square, whatever floats your boat.  Make your favorite dip.  Shove the wonton wrappers in a mini muffin pan and fill with dip.  Bake until hot, bubbly, and crispy.

You can't beat hot, bubbly, and crispy.  Nope.  Never.

If you don't have a mini muffin pan, you could always just bake the wontons flat on a cookie sheet and spoon some dip on top (if it's thick enough that it won't slid all over the place).

I really wish I had spinach to add to these this time around, they do look awfully blah.  I think the second batch I diced up some tomatoes and threw them on top.  I promise, if I bring these to your house, I'll totally jazz them up a bit.

Jazz hands baby.

Credit for the wonton cup idea goes out to Prevention RD, a great healthy-yet-drool-worthy food blog that I religiously follow.

You'll find the recipe for my favorite Spinach Artichoke Dip here at my first post ever!
