A while ago I shared with you a horror story. The one where I forgot to bring real maple syrup to Florida with me. (AHHH!!!) Many of you were concerned for me. But have no fear...not a week after that post, I received a package from my mom and dad. Oh...but what could it be??? Syrup of course!!!I had no idea they would ship this to me, being that they were driving down to visit at the end of this month, but it was an excellent surprise!!! Apparently they couldn't bear knowing I had to make my own faux syrup to pour over my whole wheat strawberry pancakes.
So I just wanted you to know that things are better. Now I can have killer breakfasts.
BTW - I'm largely leaving this comment as a passive-agressive means for my Mom to send me the very same Vermont Maple Syrup that she took home with her (because I couldn't take it on carry-on luggage back to Cali) and hasn't sent yet. Just sayin'
ReplyDeleteWoah, Woah, Woah!!! Who would have known...Aunt Pat...the Syrup Bandit. But Shannon, get real. You know between her and Dennis, that syrup is long gone. You'll just have to convince my parents to extend their road trip to SF for a drop-off.
